Does anyone know how to get a hold of the 32-page article, on the daytona 675? It was written in a british motorcycle magazine, I think the name is "Bike".

I'm old school, I prefer YAAAAHHOOOOOOOO! That issue of BIKE was at bookstores a month maybe two months ago, but I know theres a new issue out by now. If I remember right they trimmed several pounds off the wheels alone compared to the D650, several more on the new frame design, and they said the 675's fairings was noticable narrower than the inline four 600s just by looking at them. I can't wait to see that bike.

wasnt BIKE, only 2 pages of write up. I know that either TWO or Motorcyclist had a longer write up. i'll see what i can find in my archives (pile of mags under my kitchen table.....)

Motorcyclist had a big Alan Cathcart story on the bike, it's in their "new bikes 2006" issue.
And it was Bike or Ride that had a story as well, can't remember which either.

It was the October 2005 edition of Bike, but it was a 32 page pullout that wasn't sent to the States. I think you can get copies by contacting the Publishers.

ya know, i've had the mag sitting on my table. its kind of misleading to the US buyers. THe cover is JUST the front end of the 675. "WE've Ridden it. Its mind blowing" Then Page 16 and 17 are used to write up a brief review w/ pictures taking up 75% of the page.... those bastards not sending us the friggin pull-out....

I have most of that review on a .pdf file, if anyone wants to read it just PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you. BIKE also has reprints of it available by mail.
As well, check my sig- I started a site/forum dedicated to the 675.

A little bump for the Daytona 675... imo the hottest bike of 2006.
FYI - the world press launch of the 675 is happening in Sepang (Malaysia) right now. I assume Sport Rider / Motorcylist are out there enjoying the sun, food and booze. (oops, I mean the testing... yeah, that's it, the testing)
Any early comments..?
