Anyone read this yet, really clears things up for me. Thanks AT "sportrider"good stuff. Hope to see more tire tests in the future, and the manufactures line ups are great. It can get confusing.

Thanks!

It was a lot of work, and a lot of riding--nine loops of 175 miles each.

So what do you think about the Dunlop Qualifiers?

I think they listed their thoughts in the tire test...

Well that's the problem, where is this tire test? Do I have to buy the mag?

Well O Kay, but you have to give me some tips on a good beer too.

Upon further consideration I feel I must apologize for my sarcastic attempt at humor. In this speed of light instant Internet gratification time in which we live it is easy to forget that someone must pay the bills somehow. And since there are no fees or members dues for the privilege of belonging to this forum of course I will buy the magazine. Furthermore mister Trevitt let me compliment you on the outstanding job you do handling you duties to the publication and still finding time and energy to administer to this web site.
Sincerely, George

No worries, and thanks for the compliments--although I can't take any credit for the website as it's way behind on content and doesn't get updated near as often as it should be.

read the article & i'm sufficed to say it's very enlightening, i think i have found a cheaper replacement for my Michelin Pilot Power buns as the Bridgestone BT014 is only down a hair in over-all ratings & it doesn't cost an arm & a leg like the Michelins do (at least in my place).

a few months ago i used to think the Pilot Powers are in the league of the BT012SS (street/track) but the article now categorizes it in street, such rapid progress in technology only after a couple of years. looking forward to the next issue when you test the next batch of tires, i wanna see how the BT012SS fares against the competition.

Check Motorcycle Accessories Warehouse online, they have the best price for the BT-014 that I have been able to find.

thanks for the effort but i live on an island across the Pacific so shipping the tires from there in the US can be pretty prohibitive so i'll have to source my tires here.

Trevitt can i make a suggestion, can you please include the tire pressures (front & rear) as you used them on the street & track, it's hard to guess what pressure to start with it'll be very helpful as a default tire pressure setting.

Did this come out in the new SP magazine and if so for which month? I have a subscription but haven't seen that one show up on my doorstep yet? It seems that if people have read it and are discussing it I should have received by now.

AT,
What pressures were you guys running?  I couldn't find any info in the article.  Omitted on purpose?

Sorry about that, didn't check your location. I was stationed at Subic Bay in 1989, guess it has changed a lot since then.
