Hmmm...  How to respond to this....  I was waiting to see if anyone else would, but I guess it is up to me.  The gaunlet has been picked up....

I would have pegged you at 12-14.  15 is close enough.

Yawn.  I'm 6'1" and weight about 190.  WV, nice state.  I've been there many times to white water raft.  The Gaulley river and New river are fun.  Try them in a 2 person raft, unless you are chicken.  And no, I wasn't asking you for a fight.  You might be a little bigger, but I'd kick your ass anyway (2 years of Karate, and the last 5 in Judo.)  Your size might intimidate high schoolers, but you are in for a shock when you get to the real world.  I also don't fight children--I prefer staying out of jail.

CRs are nice dirt bikes.  Not my thing.  You might get a lot of use out of it in rual WV, but I wouldn't where I live.

So how exactly did I respond to you?  Look at my first 2 posts in this thread.  Neither of which was an insult or a slam.  Just a few simple statements answering your post, and an explanation of why the 'Busa and 14 are not the same bike.  Simple stuff really.  You are the one who started this minor flame fest.

It is Illinois.  And sadly, there are not as many curves as I'd like.  But I have a house and a job here, so moving isn't in the cards.  And there are far less than are in WV.  It is not all straights in Illinois either....  You just have to know where to look.  But in '06, I plan on making it to Road America, Black Hawk, and Autobahn racetracks to explore limits that I can't on public roads safely.

Merciful Savior.
You kill me, Chris.

OOH! Can I get in on this too? I'm 6'5", 205, 30 years old, and boxed in the USN for 5 years. Will somebody please West Virginia farmboy karate-kick judo chop my a$$ too?

Who's afraid of West Virginia? And your dad's Harley? I mean seriously....if you'd have said Central Pennsylvania or East Texas that might give us pause to consider... but not West Virginia. You should have just kept that to yourself.

oh yeah....IBTL!!

I was probably too hard on the kid.  Oh well, what's done is done.

And no Casey, I won't come and kick your but too.    It is just fun and games anyway.  There is always going to be someone bigger, faster, stronger....

I'd still like to know what in my first 2 posts that I said to offend this kid.  The last couple...  Well...  I know what I said there.

You know how kids are. I was watching my four year old eat a bowl of cereal this morning and he stated screaming at me simply because I was looking at him.
I wouldn't worry about it.
Not that you are.

the hyabusa and zx14 are nice bikes and on straight road I would not say anything to discredit them but for me being 6'1" and 145-150 lbs they are too heavy for me especially in the curves I will stick to my gsxr it is much better for a person of my size and weight especially since I love to ride in the twisties

I know that Muzzys have had the zx14 on the dyno recently. It was 183rhp I'm not sure about the Torque figures, but I imagine over 100 or so.

You actually went pretty easy on the kid I thought.

heck, the current liter bikes are quicker and faster than the busa now.

very true, i am new here so pls excuse me if i come off wrong, in all honesty it boils down to two issue's (1) rider,(2) raw horsepower. i have owned a busa and a 1000 and i weigh in around 240, so yes someone lighter will smoke me on either bike!!
but my point the r-1, zx-10, and the gixxer 1k will pass by the busa. i have seen it time after time. those of you from houston no how much street, and track racing jumps off here, so you know where i give my opionion from.
all of the racing sites i have been to all are arguing this issue it is unreal.
me personally i like both bikes and the speed limiter is a joke a 25 dollar ivan's tre will take care of that. and yes the busa does corner great watch the video called ????? where the guys are in london or paris racing the busa vs the zx-12 in the twists unreal, i will get the name and post. just my 2cents

for all those in search of curves, there is a bi-monthly mag called ride(whatever state you live in), for me "ride texas" and it lists all of the best roads to ride on. it is mostly for cruisers, but when it comes to long s curved roads who cares, check it out. also riding to michigan city ind thru east chgo, and gary you'll run into some nice curves off and on.

Hey Chris (2005TiZX10r) , you were too hard on the guy.You seem to think you're the boss around here , lecturing people and acting like you know it all. You're the typical keyboard commando that can been seen lurking around message boards everywhere. Why don't you get off your comp for a minute or two and go for a ride !  I'm 5'11" and 180lbs , I've been fighting on the streets since I was 5 and I don't care if I die,I've trained in kick boxing, many forms of grappling, ninjitsu and special weapons .My Dad is a lawyer and you'll go to jail.I have 25 cars and 15 bikes and I own two strip clubs and a casino. So there. Quit being an idiot.

Why all this malice? I don't understand the hostility here. It's a FORUM!!!! I read through this entire thread and laughed at some parts and rolled my eyes at other parts. Dave people mouth off all the time on these things and it appears to me that you just did too. Chris that's some funny stuff you have written there and some of it not so funny. Guys I thought we got out of this "My dad can beat up your dad" mentality after 4th grade. Sorry to jump into the middle of the rather comical dispute but you guys sound ridiculous. The whole fighting thing was clearly started by the 15yr old kid and I'm baffled that you grown men have entertained that.
