I haven't even seen a bike magazine ride the ZX14 yet.... So no I don't think anyone outside of Kawasaki has ridden one yet. I suspect the ZX14 will be faster but it simply won't matter.

Faster? They will both be the same.... 186 mph....
Quicker? Probably the new ZX-14. It is new after all, and the 'Busa has been around for about 70 years.

They were only doing that with some of the cruisers, ATVs and dirt bikes. At least in the US, I don't think they were sharing street bike platforms other than the cruiser type/style.
The ZX-14 is new for 2006. It replaces the very good ZX-12R. And rumors continue about a 'Busa replacement.... I keep reading on the internet anything from 1400cc to 1500cc... Time will tell...
The current crop of liter bikes stock vs stock are just as quick/fast as the 'Busa/12R. It took them a few years/generations to get there. The new 14 will probably rule for about 4-6 years until the liter bikes catch up yet again.

dont thgink the mag is going to have a topspeed test. they might run em down the dragstrip stock (which is really all that these things do very well). ive ridden with a busa on the track. the guy had a hell of a time lugging that hing through the corners.... as said before the current family of liters will take the bikes to the cleaners on the track. both will be restricted 186mph or 300kph....

Well the 276bhp gentleman's agreement the asian car manufacturers put on themselves has been broken in the past few years it seems. There has been speculation that Kawi won't limit this ZX14 or maybe not put the limiter on it's US bound ZX14s. Any truth to that? Nobody but Kawi knows for now, but we shall see here in the next few months...

Kiss off?
So lets see.... You post a (dumb?) question. I and others answer it politely. You say something about thinking that the 'Busa and 14 were the same bike 'but the 14 has a bigger engine'... I again politely explain which styles of bikes/atvs that Kawasaki and Suzuki shared for a few years... They have since decided to go their own ways and develope bikes seperately--brand image, etc. You then mumble something about riding dirt bikes and to quote you. I do. And now you want me to "kiss off". Right.... I'll get right on that.
So redrrider390... How old are you? What kind of dirt bike do you have? Or is it your dads?
And for the record, I have no issues about only going around corners. That is where most of the fun is on a street bike.

I thought most of the fun was on the back wheel......
And I KNOW that some of it is on the front wheel..... because I checked....

Both wheels and corners and sometimes when the rise is correct just a little air.
