Hi everyone, MotoMoko here and new to this forum. I used to street race the GSXR 750 back in 1992. Long time and now I'm 40 years old, ouch I want to get back into racing. I don't like the larger bikes like the 1000 or so but I found that they no longer make a GSXR 750. I went down to a local dealer where they have the Ninji 600 R and the RR ? I'm trying to figure out what my best option is for speed and handling. I've never owned a kawaski and wanted to hear some inside info from you guys. I look on ebay as well but it's hard to purchase a bike that's accross the USA. Which is the better of the two on the Ninji and man do they look different from the 1992, back then they looked awesome right off the showroom but now you have to trick them out more as far as looks, I here that the stage 3 jet kit isn't around either. Needs some help you guys!
Thanks, MotoMoko

What are you smoking??? There is a new GSXR 750 for '06. As far as the 6r or 6rr the 6rr is a 599cc while the 6r is a 636cc so the 6r will definitely be faster. I am not sure about the handling.

k, been you might have been out a while they still make the GSXR 750, as shown by the photos, its going to take after its bigger and younger brother in the styling area. as for the kwakers, the zx6r is the kawasaki 636 ninja (636cc engine, was made to boost the midrange punch) and in order to keep it ama and wsb legal they put out the zx6rr version, that stayed at 599ccs, produce atleast 200(or 2000 i think im not sure of the exact numbers) so they can keep racing it in the class. as for the jetkits, most bikes now are fuel injected and fuel mods are done via powercomanders (pcs) and injector swaps. imho you might want to get something like a sv650s. power is down from what you rode before, but so is the weight. it jsut so happens that with my bike, Honda CBR 600F4i, you'll get pretty much the same power to weight ratio that you had before.
