Geof, you sure have got me confused....AGAIN. Here I thought I had my mind made up on the 05-06 ZX6R and now you've reminded me of my first love... the Speed Triple. This is going to take a while to sort out. I'm going to have to do a lot of serious thinking. I guess that's half the fun. If the the 2006 Speed Triple comes available in a bright orange (like the Lucifer Orange from the 90's that Triumph had) I bet that would clinch it for me.

Can you fit a 6'2" woman on the back of a 05 ZX6R?? I mean, that "stripper on the back will (draw attention)" that they talk about, how tall do you think that stripper is?

It doesn't really matter how tall she is... Just as long as the THONG is in full site...
I think the S3 is going to do some other colors. You gotta take one out. Simple as that. Then, you'll be done searching!!

I guess that's why cars have been riding in my blind spot for so long before they pass.........
Anyway, I've sat on the 2005 Triple, I'm 6'4" so no sportbike I've ever sat on has felt perfectly comfortable (EXCEPT a Hayabusa. That hog was like a dream to me...) The R1, ZX10R, and ZX6R I could live with. The 05 GSXR1000....well, I actually had joints popping when I was trying to get my feet onto the pegs...oww.. Anyway, my 1998 Triple fits me good, so I bet the 05 would be similar.....do you think? I don't remember being uncomfortable on it.
Wheelies in fourth gear, huh?

Hmm, Hayabusa... death on two wheels. Sounds good!!!
Ya know, if you REALLY tried, I bet you could get it up in 5th. Not a full stand, but a few inches!! Anyway, I'm fairly short, 5'10" and I fit perfectly. Not quite flatfooted, but close. The reach is just right for me, if it were much longer it would be funky for me.
You gotta ride one. Sitting ain't gonna do it. I was a giddy child on it in the first 30 seconds... This is after the Duc, Buell and a friend's Heritage Softail... Honestly, I can't really compair it to any of the Asian rides, I didn't even look at those, as I was not looking for a full on sport bike. I like the NEKKID thang... Call me crazy. The looks took it over the top. Besides, everyone has a Yamakawasukida...

Well, I'm not going to let what everyone else has affect my decision... I want to get what's right for me. The problem is that there a SEVERAL bikes that are probably right for me, and they're all REALLY GOOD. Time will tell. I've got my advantage/disadvantage comparison list going between the ZX6R and the 05 Triple now. Like I said, I like them both so much, it might come down to something as silly as paint colors available... know what I mean? I'm sure the test rides will settle it. They always do.

Oh, and the Hayabusa was never a serious choice for me. I just sat on one for fun. I need something that turns hard and quick, and I doubt I could flick a 'busa around the two lane switchbacks like I could something small. Call me crazy.

only in regards to my height. if you ever end up in the urinal next to me that other thought you had will be put to rest. not to mention i ride a 600. not a litre bike or 1400. i dont need to compinsate for anything. and also i was just saying i didnt know 5'10 was fairly short. compared to a 6'5 person maybe. but most people arent over 6'. he said 5'10 was short like it was 5'4 or something ya know

I'm not really in the habit of checking out guys at urinals, sorry. That must be a California thing. Did I hit a nerve? To be so 'confident' you sure are sensitive.
