Anyone else pick it up last week? Got in some good couch time this weekend with it while house sitting, man it was nice to play it on a 50" Sony HDTV...now back to my 3_" tube.

I was a little disappointed not to see Laguna in there but everything else was good.  I don't really care for the "extreme" street mode but those 2-strokes in that part of the game sound awesome....makes me want to go try and get a street legal 2stroke lol.  The GP bikes sounded pretty good and you can hear a difference between the V5s, V4s and Inline fours...the Kawis sound a little unique, Aprilas RS3 cube didnt sound much different though.

note to self: the street is not a MotoGP track, you don't have a MotoGP bike and you're not a MotoGP rider <repeat as necessary>

Those screen shots are freakin insane. It looks so good because its on the Xbox. Nah I'm saving my money for MotoGP4, complete with 125cc/250cc/MotoGP career seasons. I'm stuck with my comp vers of Motogp2 until late October (release of MotoGP4), but thats not necessarily a bad thing

I have MotoGP3 for PS2 but haven't played it in quite a while.  Did a quick search and found this screen shot for the PS2 version of MotoGP4

It does look a little more "blockier", but I think that is just Xbox VS PS2...it's still not bad.  The games are made by completely different companies so there is a good bit of difference between the two.  I think I prefer the xbox version but again haven't played the PS2 version in a while.  I like the Xbox controller a lot more for this game though, seems like the analog joysticks work better and the dual triggers function as independent front and rear brakes (right analog thumb/joystick also acts as accelerator(up)/brake(down)) and is in a great position.  I will be envious of the 125cc/250cc races though, the "extreme street" doesnt use real bikes, or even popular engine sizes and configurations in the 600cc size.  I hope MotoGP4 for PS2 has Laguna for you.
