Good bike for tall rider?

I'm looking for a new motorcycle after about a 10 year break from riding. My only real requirement is that the bike fits and is somewhat sporty. Under $10,000 would be nice too. Any tall riders out there? I'm 6'5" with a 36 inch inseam.

So far, the bikes that "almost fit" are the Suzuki SV1000/S, Kawasaki Z750S, and the (cough) Suzuki V-Strom 1000. Does anyone know of any easy modifications that can be made?

Tall seat height, but that won't hurt you at all...suppose to be very comfortable.  Could also look at bikes like the Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat, Honda VFR800 Interceptor and Honda VTR1000 Superhawk, maybe a Triumph Speed Triple?  

Look into a sport standard like the FZ1. Some of the sport tourers might also work for you, like a Sprint ST or VFR800. Or a BMW sport tourer.

Honestly, an adventure tourer like the DL1000, Multistrada or Tiger or R1200GS would probably fit the best. And in terms of sporting ability, a well ridden adventure tourer can keep pace fairly well with sportbikes.  

Lots of good choices there.  I'm 6'4" and just picked up a used Kawasaki ZRX1100.  A comfy bike for a big guy and an easy bike to ride if you exercise restraint with the throttle.  Nice clean used ones can be had for very reasonable prices.  

Not exactly sporty, but a KLR650 could be fun...and fit.
