Duc vs Aprilia, street bike

I was wondering what you guys would consider to be a better street bike, the 749/999 or the RSVR? I do the occassional track day, but 95% of my riding is on the street. I feel the 749 would be perfect, but want ur opinions..

In case it helps im from ohio, potholes always show up in my shitty city, but the freeway is always nice

Do you want a middleweight twin or an open-class twin and how much you want to spend?

Personally, I like the way the Ducati 999/749 look and feel compared to the Aprilia. The Aprilia feels bulkier and less compact (as a twin should be) because of the wider, more bulbous fuel tank and the taller seat height.
