Anyone catch MotoGP @ Assen last weekend? Good race to bad Gibernau couldn't catch up. What was that whole thing with Biaggi/ Melandri? I heard Max's uncle tried to choke Marco or something after the Qualifing crash. 10 DAYS TILL USGP!

I saw the race and I was hoping that Gibernau would catch Rossi...damn.  I was extremely happy to see the American's do so well.  Colin Edwards placed third on the Yamaha and Nicky Hayden got 4th.  If Hayden can keep it up he could get a podium finish sometime soon...no better place than the good ole' U.S. of A!  Wish I could be "Dude for a Day"!?

TRUE AMERICAN PRIDE!!!!! Hayden broke the circuit record in the second free practice session today @ Laguna Seca. Hopefully if he keeps this up, he'll pole and podium this weekend. Hopkins also did remarkably well; he finished with the 3rd fastest lap in the first practice session. And hmmm....where was Rossi in all of this? Rossi finished 10th in the 2nd free practice. Maybe this weekend will prove a challenge for Rossi for once? As much as I love watching Rossi, it would be a true thrill to see Hayden or even Hopkins make it up on the podium.
