None that I am aware of.  The Eurocrats forced the 186 mph top speed limit on everyone....  The 'Busa is supposed to be torqier than the 12.  I think the 12 might handle slightly better since it had a minor make over in '02 or '03...

No there isn't.  Back in the day...Suzuki and Kawi were off to a pretty good battle to see who could hold the title as the "Fastest production" sportbike.  It was back and forth for a couple years until the government stepped in.  They informed the manufacturers to "Govern" the top speed of the bikes or they (govt) would step in a do it for them.  Soooo, that is why the bikes topped out at 300 KPH (roughly 187 MPH).

They are both massive machines but I have to hand it to Kawasaki for giving the Hayabusa competition with 100 less CC's.

Zx-12R. And yes, there is a real difference.

Ditch the 200 rear tire on the 12R, replace it with the 190

and the bike will 'feel' 50 lbs lighter-run with the 600's

and 1000's in the tight stuff, smoke them in the sweepers

and straights. Provided you have the necessary skill sets.
