Lucky weather we're having lately here, yes? I know I've been packing in the miles. How about you?

It would be a shame to not take advantage of this beautiful SoCal weather bro. I've been racking up the milage on my Busa, maybe on the average week say 500 miles or so. Ouch

I have a friend of mine is coming over from Santa Clara and he's very interested in the Santa Monica Mtns. If your interested just shoot me a PM and I'll gather all the details for ya.

Sweet, did so. Was just thinking... might be cool to get a small group of LA bretheren together from this board for a mountain run. Anyone down?

Nice to meet you, Nelson!
You guys are so lucky to have people to ride with.  I joined our local riding association last night.  There are 363 members and I am the only one who is not riding a Harley or other cruiser.
I just love to stand out in a crowd!  Hope they can keep up!

There are a few sportbike people down here in Bama. But your rite, we are definitely outnumbered. Check sportbikes.ws/alabama

Oh and hello Nelson, welcome to boards.

Ha!  Don't get me wrong, I still love my friends who ride Harleys but I am just not that kind of girl!  In order to blend in where I am from I would have to shave my head, lose a few pearly whites, and start sporting the beer gut.  Seriously though, the Kitty chaps are quite a hit among the guys I ride with.  "Crotch Rockets" leave a bad taste in their mouths but they are gracious enough to let me ride with them.

Come on up to Michigan, I'll ride with you anytime.  Heck anyone who wants to ride I will ride with...it's always better in groups!  JK.  Even get RedRocket to come down from the U.P. eh!  Damn the distance.

I'll be up that way for a Loretta Lynn's qualifier.  I can trailer my bike and head towards you after the race.  I would love to ride with you!

Hell yeah!  Where abouts is your qualifier going to be?  If its somewhat close I'd meet up with you.  Like I said I never pass up a chance to ride with a fellow sportbiker!

Hey Hawk...thanks for the plug.  You're right, riding in a group is always more fun...unless you're on a rocket and the others are on HD's (don't ride behind HD's, they drip too much oil   just teasing).  Anyway, I am making plans to go see my twin brother who is in the Air Force (stationed at Cocoa Beach Florida...tough duty there).  I will try to get down there in October to see the "Bike-tober fest".
