Did you find any reviews of the 2004 GSXR750? It is exactly the same. Well, the paint is different, but the mechanicals are the same.
Otherwise. I bet it is nearly as quick as a 1000, but doesn't handle as well as a 600. J/k. It is probably a great bike. Best Japanese 750 made.

Hey Ivan. Hope this helps you out. Personally I've spent a ton of time on a '05 750 at racetracks all over the country. I also spend time on both the GSXR 600 and 1000, also '05's. The 750 in production form is the best all-round bike_period! It's that good, no matter what the track lay-out, it's always my weapon of choice. Just wishing for a slipper clutch...maybe next year. Good luck and safe riding. SM

The GSX-R750 is a great bike. It has the nimbleness of a 600 with more power and torque...about 125-130rwhp. Here is one review I found:
http://www.motorcycledaily.com/14december04_gsxr750.htm
Also, did you check through all the Motorcyclist and Sport Rider pages? There should be a review in there with dyno graphs and specs.

If you must have a suzuki the 750 is a very good bike I work at a dealer and sold one to day. In my opinion it is the best of the gsxr's handles of the 600 power of the 1000. Go for it!

I can offer you a bike along with the frame for $6500. It's very clean and responsibly taken care of. Let me know if you'd like a new bike. broncofan_22@yahoo.com Or take a look at the listing. http://neworleans.craigslist.org/mcy/922185983.html

I want to mount the dual exhaust from a 2008 GSXR 1000 on my 2005 750. Has anyone tried this? How much work does it entail???

If you're just talking about the mufflers, it can be done by a competent pipe fabricator.
You'll be running into a whole host of issues if you simply try to use the complete exhaust, or portions other than just the mufflers.
