I recently got my '02 BlackBird and have since fallen in love
I'm now looking at getting a '05 (which I have to get "grey" as Honda SA will not supply me with one)
OR I have to wait for the next gen... Problem is: What is the next gen?
MCN says the following: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=m...=NEWS_NEW-BIKES
But is this true... Is this definate? How good/reliable is VTEC? (Current CBR1100XX's go for upwards of 100,000 miles according to all tales with very, very FEW problems.)
Anyone got any news on this? Thing is:
1. Keep what I've got till the new 'Bird has been out for about 1-1.5 years and then upgrade. 2. Keep what I've got. 3. Get the grey '05 and trade that later for the "real" thing...

I say keep your current bird, MCN has been claiming to have the inside scoop on a new blackbird EVERY SINGLE YEAR FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS!!! Don't believe anything they put on their website, they truely are the tabloid of the motorcycling world. Keep your '02 and with the money you save from switching to an '05 get a couple goodies for your '02 or maybe some new gear or a touring vacation on it.

Yes, keep your current bird and use that money to increase the fun factor of the bike---exhuast, brakes, suspension tweaks, etc. Make the bike yours and have fun with it.
