Sweet! Thanks, AT. These are always good to go back over every now and again. I've felt the impetus to save my old issues because of the Skills series; now I won't feel bad about sending the issues to the recycler.

The On The Highway article by Andrew Trevitt in the July issue, is a subject that needs to be kept on the frontal lobe all the time.
This is the very problem that is killing bikers more than anything else. An attitude that there is nothing particually difficult about getting out there and going down the road. All is a regulated flow of safe enough traffic.
While bikers are getting killed on a regular basis, because traffic is Not a flow of safe drivers that are attentive to driving.
I'm on the Bay Area Rider Forum a lot. Because I used to live there and I'm not too far away now. There are several Fatal reports a week there. Some on city streets, some on the roads that are out from the cities, and favorite ride areas.
The common theme is the rider didn't treat riding like it was that serious.

What "problem" are you referring to?
