Yes I agree. Well done to Nicky Hayden for bringing the title to the USA. But what the heck?!?!? A lowside from Valentino Rossi?!?!? I am a sold out Rossi fan have been since I started watching the GP. I can't believe what happened. I sure hope Yamaha doesn't have as many mishaps next year as they did this year.

ah it's just bad luck for him [rossi]. And what's wrong with that? Atleast he's proven that he is in fact a human being, or is he??? I am just glad that someone finally knocked rossi off the top spot, and all the more sweet that it was hayden

I give my most sincere congratulation to Nicky Haden for winning the 2006 MotoGP World Championship. He did it in fine stile with hard work and consistent results. As for the 800cc machines, they (Nicky & Dani) tested today at Valencia and were only a few tenths slower than their best times on the 990’s. I for one think next season will be a blast. Only five more Months!

i think the 800 machines are lighter... which will mean faster (MORE EXCITING!) corner speeds and corner exit speeds and more position changes :P its gonna be a good season
